So, what will it take for you to start? When is the right time for you to start? I talk to people that will start next week, next month, next year, and that next whatever never comes…the right time is now!

And, yes…P90X may or may not be the right program for you…which is why there is an array of different Beachbody training programs…you can check and see which one fits you best…

And of course…don’t forget the Shakeology…you start taking it…you will not stop…and you will be thankful you found it!

Just got a very disturbing video from a friend…and wanted to make you aware of it…

And no it should NOT matter what you think about Glenn Beck!

Now…the real question is…how do we confirm all this info…

The real answer…I am not sure its possible! But great food for thought!

Just did the Fountain of Youth Yoga (48 min) from the One On One With Tony Horton Workouts…and yesterday did the Patience Hummingbird (34 min - recovering from a Virus, more on that on tomorrows Post)…and I just have to tell you…

Yoga is not easy and not for Sissys…or just for Girls…but it will change your life in a way you never thought possible!

Here is what has happened for me and will also happen for you:

1. You will clear your mind (boy do we all need it!)

2. You will be more flexible (I could not touch my toes two years ago…now I need a Yoga block because I go about 7 inches PAST my toes!)

3. You will have less pains (my shoulder and back pains are mostly gone - still have some back pain occasionally)

4. You will feel lighter, in a better mood, and make better decisions (I find I have relaxed much more compared to what I used to be)

5. You will perform better in all the other workouts you do or in any other areas of your life (yes this has happened for me also)

6. You will become stronger and have more stamina/endurance (boy do I have more of both)

7. You will lose weight/inches/flab and have to rush to the store to buy new clothes (yes I am doing this constantly)…

Had a talk with the postman today…he told me his wife is using yoga to help her with pain from her car accident 15 years ago where her shoulder was crushed…

Again…you can get those two workouts here for a slow start or Ho Ala Ke Kino (26 min) there is a very special person in my life that has hardly done and exercise…started her with Ho Ala Ke Kino and she loves it.

For the Hard Core (you know if I am talking to YOU), the Yoga X in P90X is 92 min…relax half of it is stretching! And you do need a recovery drink at the end…

So…if you want any of the above great things that have happened to me to happen to you…let’s get going with some Yoga…among the other great workouts Beachbody has to offer!

Would be remiss if I did not pay tribute to ALL our veterans today for their selfless service…remember when I joined the USAF 20 years ago one of the mottos employed by my training Flight Commander was

“service before self”

With this opportunity, here is a short documentary of what Beachbody Elite Trainer Shaun T did for Memorial Day…he visited Fort Bliss in El Paso TX for a memorable and insane workout!

If the Army things its good enough…may be you ought to look into it also…however…word to the wise:

Insanity is NOT a joke…and in my opinion it is harder than even P90X! So make sure you are up to the task and don’t come back aching if you are out of shape and start this way…you can consider something more docile like the 10 Minute Trainer or Power 90, or even Slim in 6…

Stay fit…and always check 6! And if you see a veteran, thank them!

A beautiful sunny day before we fly up to Alaska for the afternoon…

While I was flying from Chicago to LAX yesterday as a passenger I met a very interesting guy named Ken from Echuca, Victoria, Australia…don’t know what happened except one of the Maverick Mottos held through again…

“The world becomes smaller once you open your mouth”

I asked Ken where he was from because he used the “how are you going?” phrase instead of “how are you doing?” we use here in the US…immediately I asked where he was from and he said Australia…so then we started talking about why he is the US (it was his first trip and he was generally quite intrigued!) and what he did in Australia that allowed him to leave his business for one full month…

Ken is in the candy business (Echuca Heritage Sweet Company) and he gave me his website, which I am giving you here…his town, Echuca, is 2.5 hours north of Melbourne and is becoming a very interesting tourist spot because of the outdoor activities and wine tasting available as well as the interesting landscape.

When you are ready to visit, just go to Ken’s site and see the Links, everything is in there…

Of course our discussion quickly turned to Flying, and Fitness, and I could not help but tell Ken I bring my Yoga Mat everywhere I go as well as the results I have had with P90X, Insanity and in General all the Beachbody workout programs.

Then we started talking about nutrition and what we should and should not eat…I said to Ken…this must be interesting since you sell things with sugars and items that are generally not good for your body…and we did come to the conclusion that “if it has a label, don’t eat it”…Ken cannot be eating the stuff he sells because he is in very good shape for a 50 year old…as well as his wife Heather.

So is it OK to cheat a little and eat a candy here and there (and yes please give Ken the business!)…of course it is…even Tony Horton says you got to treat yourself once in a while…

As long as you are behaving most of the time…and I must admit the eating is the hardest part for me and I constantly struggle with it…but I keep fighting…and fighting!

So…keep fighting…and keep checking six!

In Alaska…69F and sunny all day yesterday…what a beauty to take a walk and/or rent a bicycle…

Just saw something quite disturbing and I thought I put it out immediately…go watch this 5 minute video right away if you have ever used public copiers or you were thinking about using them…the cost of getting your own copier may be warranted compared to what can happen on the alternative…

Relax its not what you think…some may be disappointed…but it the flight simulator event…every six months our company gives us additional training and testing to make sure we are up to par…and I enjoy it every time because I learn something…

Have been getting the Greece question lately…what is going on…where are they headed…and I will answer it…
